Read this story, Cat Person at last! Saw it being pulled apart on twitter over the holidays. I listened to it this morning driving to a training session in Athlone. Read by the author. I really enjoyed it. It’s a piece of fiction that develops in an intriguing way. The ideas are not fresh, this is what I thought at first but they might be ideas some women and men have at some point of their life so there’s some great discussion points here too. The ending was a masterpiece. That last word was perfect! I’d recommend a read or a listen to the Writer’s Voice podcast from the New Yorker Fiction.
