Olive Kitteridge by Elizabeth Strout. This book is made up of various seemingly disjointed stories of characters all connected by Olive!
Enjoyed first story very much. Requires switch to move from story to story but Elizabeth writes do nicely, it’s made easier.

Almost Corner Bookshop, Trastevere. A gorgeous English language Bookshop in the very cool and funky Trastevere district of Rome. The bookseller tells me that there are two others in Rome. Didn’t catch their names! May have purchased a book of sonnets for @simonmlewis

Remember me like this by Bret Anthony Johnson. Reading this for my work’s book club. It’s a beautifully written and observed book. Slow yet dramatic and very moving. A book about parenting and how everybody loses when a child is abducted and returned some years later. It’s a sad book about family and how children complete you and how you’d do anything for them.

FILM alert this evening! 45 years is the film based in possibly my favourite short story by the never boring David Constantine. The short story is called In another country and is a teary few pages long. The film is also teary, moving and as good as the original story.

Saw this last night in @visualgallery_carlow.
It was excellent. Two actors took to the stage for nearly two hours and held our attention completely. The screenplay was adapted into a film of same name with Julie Watson and Michael Caine. Well worth a view for a vintage classic. This play is screening for two more nights in Visual Carlow.
